There has been a lot of confusion between P broteroi and P coriacea in the south of Spain. P coriacea is far less comon than P broteroi.

You can recognise the species by the somewhat blue green foliage. We have the impression that P coriacea from Spain is somewhat an insulated type.

P coriacea from Morocco resembles way more to P algeriensis. Only hairy status of the Algerian species makes the difference Although hairy specimens have been found in Morocco as well.
