The position of the so called Bletilla yellow striata is still unclear. I tend to believe that it might be some kind of natural polyploid created by different Bletilla species. A phenomenon that we can see in our native Dactylorhiza genus. On the other hand it has some very distinctive characteristics, such as splitting flower stems, late flowering period, warmer growing than regular bletilla species.
This individual has colours of typical ochracea but flower size that is at least triple the size of regular ochracea.
