Succesful Disa growing is an exciting and wonderful experience. Disa has the most intens coloured flowers of the whole orchid family. 

Unfortunately Disa has a bad reputation as they schould be impossible to grow. We can assure you that this is not at all the case. Besides they are very ecological as they hardly need heating only  in extreme circumstances. Also many other orchids sa Dactylorhiza, Pogonia, Calopogon, some Cyrpipedium and so many carnivorous plants can be grown under the same conditions .
