Most easy dactylo for wild garden. Both suitable for grass land or wood land. Neutral to alkaline soils.

Not vulnarable for typical dactylorhiza disease when growing conditions are too rich or too much nutrition salts. Plants loose its natural fungus wich protects it against attacks of other bacteria or fungus disease.

Forms hybrids with other dactylos sych as D. maculata, D. praetermissa etc.., which are in many cases very nice and are large specimens.
