This two leaf species has long stems with often 3 flowers if well grown. Other than previously thought it is not difficult growing. We only have to keep bulbs burried in slightly moist soils during winter.

Very important for good Pleione cultivation is to water only from beneeth as long as  leaves are not fully developped, or at least as long as flower stage has passed. This is most important for species with buried bulbs such as scopulorum, yunnanense and bulbocodioides.
