two years or more out of flask

A type of Paeonia obovata subsp.willmottiae  ( Hong De- Yuan )

This alba form is propably one of the most delicate peonies for the woodland garden.

Superb cup-shaped, pure white flowers above coppery coloured leaves. Later in the season the leaves turn to a metallic grey-green. Brilliant blue seeds contrast with scarlet infertile ones.

A fantastic ethereal beauty for a sheltered position, away from icy spring winds.

If you ever get the chance to see it, you'll never forget it !
